This BusKill 2025 Annual Report will discuss the state of the BusKill project at the end of 2025 and the progress we made throughout the year 2025.

In 2025, we’re changing from a twice-yearly Warrant Canary to a once-yearly-canary plus a new once-yearly-annual-report.
In 2025, we published two video to help spread awareness, provide a clear demo, and show how to use BusKill.
And in 2025, we were awarded a grant from Futo.
Previously we had been burying overviews of our last year’s activity in a newsletter email, which wasn’t very (publicly) transparent.
Going forward, we’ll be be publishing annual reports at the beginning of each year and renewing our Warrant Canaries in the middle of the year.

This year we worked with video producers in the privacy/security space to help us publish open-source guides that explain how to use BusKill.
One video (by Techlore) was a short review and demo showing how to use the BusKill Kit.
The other video (by samxplogs) was an unboxing video of the BusKill Kit.
In Feburary 2025, Futo granted BusKill a microgrant.
